Hi everyone!

Nowadays you can find many coquito recipes with different flavors but in the end, it's the same traditional recipe, you just add a special something. You can find recipes like Nutella Coquito, Pistachio Coquito, Almond Coquito, etc.
My recipe is simple, traditional but... with one secret ingredient... GROUND CLOVES! You might think that cloves is a strong spice but I found that just a bit in the coquito recipe gives it a little bit more of that holiday flavor and warmth.
Here's the recipe!
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of Evaporated Milk
- 1 can of Cream of Coconut (Coco Lopez)
- 1 can of Coconut Milk
- 1 can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 tbs of Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tbs of Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of Ground Cloves
- A pinch of Salt
- 2 cups of Puertorrican Rum (Palo Viejo or DonQ)
In a large mixing bowl or in a blender, pour in the evaporated milk, cream of coconut, coconut milk, condensed milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt.
Mix everything really well and make sure there are no cinnamon or clove lumps in the mixture.
*Rum Instructions:
For this whole recipe you will need to add 2 cups of rum but if you want to serve them in bottles, for example, 14oz bottles, you will need to pour first 1/2 a cup of rum in the bottle and the fill with the coquito mix. The rum amount will depend on the bottle's size. Don't forget to shake well!

Happy Holidays!
